G-1 Gear Roll

The "G-Roll" or just G-1, is designed to keep all of your essential gear in one well organized storage unit.  I made my original unit to carry all of my tools for field dressing deer (knives, gloves, drag rope, etc...).  How you use the G-Roll is up to you and your imagination: fire starting kit, cordage, tarps, navigation and signal, fishing tackle, knives, first aid, toiletry, etc...

The G1 consists of one large storage pocket, a MOLLE grid and four "Shock Cord" tie downs with cord locks.  The large pocket can be used to stow numerous smaller items of larger items such as a 10' x 10' sil-nylon tarp, fire starting kits, shelter kits, medical kits, etc...  The four shock cord tie downs aid in securing longer items such as tent stakes, tarps, computer cords, knives or other objects/tools, to the MOLLE grid.  You can move the shock cords around to different locations or, in a pinch, substitute with 550 para cord or rubber bands...  Please see our Gear Strap Kits page for additional webbing/cordage options that can be used with the G1.  No matter how you decide to use it, the G-Roll keeps your essential gear organized so it is where you want it, when you need it!

The G-Roll is hand crafted in the U.S.A. from 500 DN Cordura and MilSpec webbing, velcro and plastics.

Center Line Systems G1 Gear Roll

I recently picked up a Mother Canteen Carrier and wanted to ad to it. I went to Center Line System Home Page and found the G1 Gear Roll. It was a hard decision between the G1 and G2 but I decided on the G1 as I felt it gave me more options with the Mollie. I had to wait a little while after I placed my order but not forever. When I received my G1 and started loading it uo I was like a kid in a candy store on Christmas morning. The G1 is very well made and made in the USA. If you are into hiking, backpacking, bushcraft or prepping you ned to look at the Center Line System Gear Roll. You won't be sorry.
