Folding Saw Pouch (FSP)

This pouch is fantastic! I just ordered my 3rd one. One has my saw and hatchet, another has a fishing kit and the 3rd I haven’t decided yet. Extremely well made and versatile.

When you are in the forest, it is sometimes necessary to process wood, especially when things are wet. This is not the time to be fumbling around in your pack looking for your saw. With this pouch, your Bahco is right there, ready to rock n' roll. This also frees up space in your Gear Roll for other tools. And like everything else made by Center Line Systems, this pouch is built like a Rolls-Royce. This is an American company that produces heirloom quality stuff!

This pouch is extremely well made and fits my Silky Gomboy very nicely. It is great to have a product that fits the Gomboy as well as the Bahco Laplander, as all others I have seen are just too small for the Gomboy. The MOLLE attachment is secure. The stitching is excellent. Everything about the pouch is well done and clear that there was attention to detail. The ability to use as a belt pouch for the saw is awesome as well for heading out to gather firewood, or to have close by when I do some off trail scouting and need to clear a path. Awesome pouch, that can you can mount to just about anything.... there are multi mount options, As I have to stated in my other reviews, Center Line Systems has such great innovative thinking in their product designs... AWESOME.... I even have room to store an extra blade, or a my fish mouth opener which I use with my Kleen Kateen. FANTASTIC saw pouch

The Centerline Systems Folding Saw Pouch or FSP is a real multi-pouch very capable of its primary role of a small folding saw carrier, but the ways you can use this versatile pouch is nearly endless. The attention to detail is second to none and there are some features you just can’t find anywhere else. A fine example is the rubberized backing on the inside front of the pocket which provides a retention grip, protects the pouch from wear and can quiet a noisy occupant. There is extensive reinforcement in key areas and top notch materials used throughout. I am a big fan of using a cottage craftsman whenever you are looking for unique purpose built item that is designed from a position of expertise and a true love of the craft; it’s what they do and they tend to do it very well indeed. The FSP is conceptually a Swiss army knife of purpose built goodness that has a simplicity that is so elusive to achieve and totally contrasts the gimmicky approach so commonly seen on other multi-purpose Franken-pouches. Let me illustrate as I have used the following items in this pouch and it seamlessly conforms to that item as if it was specifically built to house it snug and secure. Gransfors Bruk Mini Hatchet – Fits inside the pouch with the flap closed and looks custom fit. Also fits in the Scout carry loop and can be removed or sheathed with a saw inside the pouch. Ecstatic about this! Gransfors Bruk Small Forrest Axe – inside the Scout carry loop and again can be removed or sheathed with a saw inside the pouch. I am sure any axe in between these two extremes would work as well. Silky F180 Pro inside the pouch, but we already knew that. The fact you can pair it with a hatchet or small axe is just brilliance I have never seen before. I grew up a Boy Scout so of course a saw and an axe makes sense to me. 9 inch Torpedo level inside the pouch. MSR Inline water filter inside the pouch. Fluke Networks IntelliTone 100 Probe inside the pouch. Plus there is an endless parade of items this pouch works with but with a looser fit like the larger SteriPen several water filters and light sticks just to name a few. The mounting options are well thought out and work together well so no one solution is blocked by another. The tunnel pocket for the scout carry works well with several of my Spydero knives with a pocket clip. If you are looking for a very high quality crafted pouch for your favorite pocket saw Mark has really come up with a very versatile system in the FSP. It works well with my Mother canteen carrier, the Scout bottle carrier and the G-2 roll. I have put those items through every day use for quite a while now without a single thread lose. I highly recommend Marks wares and am proud to support one of the true American craftsmen every chance I get.

The FSP is another great example of the thought that Mark puts into his products. This saw pouch is anything but the "norm". With muliple mounting options and even a sleeve to hold an axe or tomahawk along with your saw, is just a great example of the forward thinking that all of Centerline's product posess.
